This performance is part of the Virtual Boston New Music festival, a two-week showcase of Boston’s leading new music ensembles. This year’s virtual festival is available both to the Boston community and audiences around the world.

Begun in 2007 by Aaron Larget-Caplan as a means to bridge the chasm between new music and composers, and composers and the guitar, the New Lullaby Project has seen premieres of 60 solos in Russia, Canada, Europe, and across the US, and features over 50 composers from 9. Each New Lullaby is 3-6min in length and features various musical languages: 12-tone, polyphonic, minimalist, tonal, ¼ tone, etc, allowing listeners a taste of many in a single performance, for who’s afraid of a lullaby?!
